Wich one is better. Does the Howell harness worth 60-70 bucks more???
Budjet is my concern, but if there's a huge difference I will go for the Howell one.

I have a howell harnes for the 4.3 CPI... (V8 or V6??) which is very similiar to the TBI harness. They ship it with TBI install instructions. It is very well constructed and I haven't had a lick of problems with it. I'd buy it again.
Can't comment on the quality of the Painess harness.
Edit: Why is this posted in Jeep and General at the same time??!

I got mine from the guy who runs www.chevythunder.com. It was less than half the price of Painless or Howell and seems like the same quality, if not better. He makes them himself though, so getting one takes about 10 days. With shipping, mine was $155 I think. He seems to appreciate the business greatly and takes pride in his quality.

I got my TPI harness from the guy who runs www.chevythunder.com. He'll make you a TBI harness but it takes about 10 days. It was less than half the price of a Howell or Painless harness and seems like the same, if not better, quality. He appreciates the business greatly and takes pride in the quality of his work. I think mine was $155 including shipping.

I just got a Painless harness, and it seems fine, works well. The worst thing I can say about it is that directions are universal for TPI or TBI...they could be better.
The best thing I can say about it is I got it in less than 24 hours from Summit.
This is after waiting a month and being given three delayed completion dates from Speedscene Wiring, and then being told by Zac the owner "what do you want me to do, create miracles?"
:flipoff: him.

I have the painless kit for tbi 4.3 and it works good and went in easy. The only thing I can say is make sure the one you get has a port to use a scanner.
