Tried a search but the darn things just sits there and does nothing. So please don't give me crap.

I got the AW4 installed in my jeep YJ and need to get the fittings that screw into the tranny. The yard I bought the tranny from just cut and twisted the lines right at the fittings so I can't even use the stub. I was able to remove the inner tube and have the fittings. The inner tube has a o-ring and flange on it but there is nothing to work with cause its twisted and short. What are some of you guys doing/using.

Also I have no shifter hooked up. Other than going to a junk yard and pulling one out of a XJ, anybody have any aftermarket stuff that is cool and hooks up easily.

Still have the wiring to finish but I got schematics and so far it looks very simple. Only need the tranny computer connector, already have the tranny computer. Local yard has three 89 XJ's for me to rob parts. Anyone know if the 89 xj computer connector is the same as a 92-95, O don't want to make the drive and gothru the effort of ripping the dash apart without getting what I need?

Thanks,

zman

OK, found the fitting # off of Stu's site. It is a -6 to 14mm x 1.5 fitting.

I've got a modified TH400 Lokar on mine. Only locks in Park and drive. Still working on finishing up the tranny swap at the moment.

Yeah same ones I got from a local race shop. I guess it is also the same fitting used in some steering boxes for covnerting high pressure sides to AN fittings such as the PSC kit.

I personally prefer the XJ shifter over after market shifters. Only after market one I woudl go with is winter bro's or a art carr (same thing, different name). I had one of those on my TH350 and loved it, but for ease and price, the XJ shifter was perfect. I actually cut the XJ tunnel out and it fits my YJ tunnel perfect.

Thanks,

I think I found my shifter. Will find out if the guy will part with it tommorow. Also I got that connector for my TCU for $5. I found it out of a 89, TCU is from a 92. The connector is keyed so it does not fit the newer style TCU but a little platic removal of the key and it fits perfect.
