My buddy is down in Bolivia and he sent me some pictures of Land Cruisers he was seeing. He said that 3 out of every 4 vehicles he sees are Land Cruisers. I don't know what model they are, but there are three different ones, and more pictures to come. I just need someone to post them for me. Okay I figured it out.

The first one looks like a nice FJ40 (at least there aren't any visible diesel badges), the second is an FZJ70 (1FZ engine, probably carburated, you can see the "4.5" badge right after the Land Cruiser badge on the apron), and the last one is an FZJ75 "troop carrier" (same engine as the second truck)...Cool pictures!!

PS: Without seeing the whole truck I can only give you an approximate model-year for the last two. They're at least post-1990 (from the grille) but pre-2000 (from the turn signals). Judging from the lack of fender flares and the kind of rims, I'd say the FZJ70 is an STD-trim. The troopie definitely is, they only came in LX model in Australia.

I don't know how you know all that stuff 60seriesguy, but it's pretty impressive.

Okay, now anybody know what that sticker on the fj40 says? I'm guessing it's "Toyota" in another language??

Born and raised in Venezuela, where Land Cruisers are as common as Ford F-150's in the United States. Used to be a fishing guide and drove an FJ75 everyday for work! But above all, I am a rabid, obsessive Cruiserhead! :)
