Ive been trying to do some inverted(upside down) mig welding and either burn through or get a cold weld. I consider myself to be pretty decent at flat and horizontal, ok at vertical, but inverted, wow. I suck. I know its always best to try and rotate the piece to a flat position but obviously some stuff this is impractical/impossible. so any pointers? my machine is a craftsman 135 with 50/50 and .030 wire. been trying a 1" round tube 90* T junction.

Keep your stickout to a minimum, and make sure all your clothing is leather!

Its hard to do a long bead. Increase voltage and wire. Little stickout. Wave the tip left to right and go MAYBE a half inch and stop. Wait about one second and repeat.
Try that..

Move quickly....
I usualy turn the welder up a little higher so it penitrates quickly, work a good weave and move quickly so the weld solidifies before it has the chance to icecycle.
