I'm looking for 6 bolt spindles to use with disc brakes. I know about the 76-earlier ch*vy ones. I found a few sets of 6 bolt spindles at a Ford only salvage yard that are similar to the ch*vy spindles, but are about 1/8-1/4" shorter.

From the past two hours of searching, all I can figure is these might be from a TTB axle or an 76-earlier EB. Can someone verify or correct this?

The two sets of Ford spindles are slightly different from each other on the section between the inner bearing and the bolt flange. I'm guessing one is for drums and the other type is for discs?

I'd like to know if or what hub/rotors I can use with these.

Why won't the TTB spindles work? I was thinking of using them on my CJ that I put the chevy flat tops on. I thought that I measured the stub axle, and thought it was the same for the TTB as the straight axle. Just a curiosity thing here, I have alot more ford parts then chevy parts.

People have replaced the TTB six hole spindles with mid 70's Chevy spindles and caliper brackets when doing an 8 lug conversion, so I suppose there is no reason you couldn't do the opposite. As long as the spindle hole patterns are the same and you get the right length stub shaft you should be fine. Just beware the spindles from '87 and early '88 Broncos/F-150, they had flange hubs, and will not work with anything else.

I don't know if this helps you, but I have a set of spindles from a front 1973 d44 front out of a Blazer that I would be willing to get rid of for next to nothing + shipping. PM me if you are interested.
