Does anyone know of a method to mount the 420 to a closed type Buick bellhouising without running bolts from inside of bell and threading into tranny on the bottom bolts???????:question: :question: :question: :jeep3: :jeep:

I have done some searching and it seems there might be a way to run bolts through tranny after drilling out and some grinder work.Does anyone know of this method and how it worked out or am I just dreaming and should just get on with doing it the hard way?????? Thank you...:cool:

I seem to remeber there was no way of doing this, There was something in the way when I investigated it.

By the way this is on all sm420s, the chevy bellhousings were all internal bolt on the bottom two bolts.

I would just do it the hard way and get on with it..
