How good are these kits. $50 is one helluva lot cheaper than buying a true beadlock wheel. Put them on some junkyard white spokes, seems like a deal to me, but do they work.

Never mind. I did a search an found a ton of info about them as recently as last month, including the reference to Bart Wheels.

Carmon safety lock sells a kit with 32 bolts basically a double drilled 16 bolt. He will also weld them on your wheel for $15 a piece. the kit runs $69 per wheel. 800-290-6519.
The $50 kits I've seen suck. I actually ordered a set from a circle track company, poor quality. later, rich

What do mean by "bend" Are you referring to the inner portion of the outer ring coning into the center of the rim?!? If so, use the "search" button and you will find quite a few threads about DIY kits and how to help stave off this problem. I have ROCKSTOMPERS (www.rockstomper.com) and they are the :nuke:!! Thanks to Scott @ Rockstomper and all of his awesome info that help me make my decision.
