I drove up to Tahoe this afternoon, the only snow left at the top of Kingsbury grade ( 7200'), was snow plowed piles.
I was amazed at how little snow was still left throughout any of the forested areas.

I believe that Pinch Rock & Gate Keeper are the same spot.

First obstacle after the spillway on the Loon side.

It's where most people end up getting pinched
between the rocks and dinging the rocker panels.

2 hours I can go from pinch to little sluice in about 45 min. The area around pinch rock has been without snow for 2 weeks. last time I went up you could safley enter and exit the bowl without a winch. But once I got to the other side of the bowl the trail was bypassed . so I didn't go any farther. I heard of a least 20 people goin to walker rock but there was only 1 or 2 rigs that stayed on the trail.:(
