I know we hear when a vendor doesnt do well so I want to throw this out to a vendor who has exceeded my expectations in customer service.
For Christmas this year I decided that I was gonna get myself a plasma cutter. The best price I found was from www.cyberweld.com. I called and asked about some specifications on the Miller Spectrum 2050, which is bigger than I will ever need, but I dont want to buy another plasma in a couple of years.
After discussing my options with them I decided to go ahead and order the machine. The plasma was shipped promptly and I recieved the unit on the date promised. Unfortuantely this plasma had a problem with it and would not fire up.
I called them the next day expecting all kinds of hassle. I was pleasantly suprised when they said that they would ship another one out the next day with a return tag for the original unit. This impressed me that they were handling something that I had assumed I would have to take in for warranty work.
Not only that, but I had two $2500.00 plasma cutters of theirs on my word that I would send the other one back. The new plasma works awesome and I returned the non-working one the next week.
I have no affiliation with this company, just wanted to express my appreciation for their excellent pricing combined with bomb-ass customer service. The world we live in needs more companies that hold standards like these!!!!!!!

that is for sure.

i'd much rather deal with a local shop but i just can't beat the price. the local shops will match the price but can't do anything about the tax. it would cost me about $145 more in tax to buy it local. money is tight now so i will have to order it.

i know that $40 out of my pocket is a whole lot different than financing $100 over 5 or 6 years:D

money is tight right now but i'm still not worried about the $40 for know service.

It can't be that tight if you are buying an 1800 dollar welder. I wish my money situation was that tight.  :flipoff2:

I havent bought any machines from them but I have bought a TIG torch, foot pedal and various other things and they have been great to me. My local place couldnt even price match them. There was an issue once about a product being back ordered, they called me up to see what I wanted to do and took care of it right away. Good place to buy from

I ordered my mm210 from them and it was sitting in my driveway 2 days later having been shipped (i believe) all the way accross the country. I would not hesitate to order form them again. Great outfit.

i think they are drop shipped directly from miller. at least that is what happened with my sw200. mine took a about 4 days i think. they told me that there were no sw200's on the west coast miller distribution centers yet so it came from the east coast.

Yeah ordered my mm175 and auto darkener along with a bunch of other stuff from them. Never had a problem. My local welding place doesn't seem to mind I didn't buy my welder from them, they get enough of my $$ on gas, stuff I need in a pinch and can't wait to order cheap (like the other day when I decided I needed a torch now) and consumables.

dane forgot to mention that miller suspected just the torch was defective yet cyberweld insisted on sending a whole new unit just to make sure we didnt have anymore problems.
