Red Dot Heater/AC questions [Archive]

Ok, so it's a long shot...

I'm putting in a Red Dot R-9777 rooftop heater/ a/c unit onto my crewcab LR and have some questions.

I'm not sure if any POR members have any experience with these things, but the depth of knowledge around here astounds me enough to ask anyway.

1. Do I really *need* the cab filtration and pressuization system? (pn: 78r5612 & 78r5614)

2. Which is better a horizontal of vertical remote mount filter? (Or does it boil down to mounting preference?)

3. Is there a better system to be using?

Sorry to turn this forum into my own personal Red Dot tech session, but my local guys have never seen this thing, and getting info from Red Dot hasn't been the easiest. They try to turn me back to my local distributor.
