Snow report 2/10

Bowman lake area. At the top of the ridge above Bowman we were still just below the snow level. It rained like a SOB with just a little bit of white slush mixed in. Snow level per the radio was at 7,500 ft. I think we were in the 6,300 area but short of heading toward Meadow lake we were about as high as we could get. Very little white stuff on the ground.

Snow level is supposed to drop down to 5,000 ft tonight and it rained HARD all the way down the hill and into Auburn. Some cold air mixed in behind this front will be a godsend.

We came across a few small patches of ice on the North side of the hill in the shade. Other than that it was driving in a melting slush. Driving in the frozen snow at Wentworth last week had this beat hands down.
