I have a 74 that I am building into a dedicated trail clean up truck.



I am a bit undecided on the color. I just received a Hartley TNT grill for the truck and need to make a choice on the final color of the truck.



It is tan now.

Bright Silver is ghey.
Either OD green, or Charcoal.
I'm leaning towards charcoal.:p

Have to go Charcoal Gray or OD Green

Paint it like a Waste Management truck with the dark green and yellow trim.

I have tried several times to contact and work with WM. If they don't want to be involved there is no way I am advertising for them for free.

There are plenty of other companies that have donated to this project. If I were going to paint it any company color it would be one of the companies that has actually helped

PPG made it special for Stacey on Trucks a couple of years ago. Then they added it to their stock list.

My new grill finally got here from www.HartleyTNT.com.

They donated this to my "Trail Clean up" project. KC Highlights donated the lights you see mounted in the grill.

Since I am not sure what color I am going to paint the truck yet I am also not sure what color to paint the grill. So what you see here is bare metal. I just wanted to test fit it to make sure everything was going to fit right.

I was also curious how it mounted before I got it so I included a quick mounting picture. Just have to drill 4 quick holes and its done.

I like it!! What do you think?

Well, I must be nuts. I stumbled upon a crew cab shell that needs lots of love. I have always thought this project would be better as a crew cab so that you could haul a couple of guys up to a trail to work on it. (Plus I have always loved these old chevy crew cabs.)

Figured since we were going to tear the whole truck down to do paint and body anyway we may as well do it on the crew cab and eventually swap over the other parts. I could use all the help I can get if anyone wants to work on it. (Or would like to buy the other shell when I am done)
