Hello,

I have a 94, TJ tub that is in great shape, painted yellow, rhino lined inside, w/; dash, auto meter gauges, 6-point roll cage, rock skies, rear quarter panel guards, luvered hood and winch bumper...........what is this worth?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks - Dale

If you really think you have a "94' TJ" you should get out of the Jeep forum.:shaking:

Trade you?

The two towers in the back are no longer in the view-but the bridge itself is very sound and creates good revenue.

The YJ was '87-'96 (square head lights, gas tank on the rear)
The TJ was '97-'06 (round head lights, gas tank on driver's side)

If you still think you have a '94 TJ body then it's priceless.

Otherwise it's worth somewhere between what you can get out of it and what it will cost you to replace it.

Regardless You're not going to get a straight answer here.:flipoff2:
Put it in the classified section here on Pirate and ask for offers.

yeah you have a yj if it is a 94. But who knows....with that information you might not have a YJ or a TJ....could have a CJ and have the year and model wrong. take a pic and someone will let you know real quick.

They made no wrangler in 1996

Look on ebay-watch a few auctions end-thats what its worth. I get 700.00 to 1200.00 for an unmolested rust free YJ tub (key being rust free) The TJ tubs are actually worth slightly less.

Actually the gas tanks are in exactly the same place.

It's where they get filled from that changed. :flipoff2:

Never know... May be a body tub from a concept vehicle or something that somehow made it to the scrapyard... :grinpimp:

Guys I've personally seen a a YJ with a date of manufacture being September of 1995, (usually anything September or later is considered to be the next model year). Regardless I've seen a Ranger pick-up made in April of 1982 that had a VIN code for 1983.

If you say there was no 1996 Wrangler then so be it.:flipoff2:
... and I was referring to the gas cap location. You guy's can be so anal:laughing:

Yeah, and old CJs (-2As, -3As, -3Bs etc.) that didn't sell were sold and titled in the following year, but that doesn't mean they were produced in that year.

Besides, JP magazine says that no matter what you've heard, there are no 96 Wranglers...and we all know what experts they are.
