I'm in the market for a nice cordless led shop light
I don't want anything crappy as all my other tools are Snapon, snap on wants like $140 for their light and its not worth that much IMHO
I have used this one before and really like it http://www.amazon.com/EZRXL3000-Extreme-Rechargeable-Cordless-Trouble/dp/B000GTIKSY/sr=1-11/qid=1171591830/ref=sr_1_11/104-3891327-7751917?ie=UTF8&s=hi
but there is also this one for cheaper http://www.amazon.com/Neiko-Super-Bright-Rechargeable-Cordless/dp/B000FDZXF4/sr=1-1/qid=1171591830/ref=sr_1_1/104-3891327-7751917?ie=UTF8&s=hi
any experience with this one? looks like cheap china crap to me
Any body else have a nice one? I would like it to be able to last all day, and charge fairly fast and be bright. I don't want the tube style as i already have a snapon one and it just blinds you all the time, i hate it

I'm curious about this as well. I have a Ferret Instruments corded one that is absolutely phenomenal. Unfortunately, they don't make cordless ones.:( It's water proof, and crush proof. If you drive over it and it breaks, they replace it. I recently ran over mine with a 2500hd front and rear, and it didn't do a darned thing.
I'll add on to this, please post battery run time, also. I bought a cheapo ebay led one, and it's only good for 2 hours or so, which isn't long enough for me on a daily basis.

I have a shop and have a saber light 60 led and i like it I had the astro and like it to. I say had sence it went down the road with a car. The saber light has gone on 2 rides to be brought back to me. The one trip was about 10mi and most of it on the highway at 65mph and the 2nd one was on a plow truck and did two driveways with it hanging under there. So you know the hooks are good:D . That is the problem with the cordless light. They are way off on how long the batts last on all of them. I think ferret make cordless ones now.

I have only had it for a few months, but for $59.99 out of the Napa tool flyer, I got a decent light that I have dropped several times from 6 feet and lasts me all day.
I always feel like I've lost it, not having a cord has its disadvantages.

I have a Power On Board Rechargeable w/ 26 LEDs that works quite well. Only about 40 bucks if I remember...

I use my fluorescent drop light, to add to ambient light, but for working, nothing beats my LED headlight. It shines where I need it to, and frees up my hands, as well as not having it perilously perched over my head waiting for a moment to fall on me.

I use the ATD Sabre light. 47$ from my tool dealer. I like it because when it gets dropped it still works. It have a 1 year replacement warrenty no question asked. I also use a 4aa streamlight 7 led flash light. Its been very durable and has a life time warrenty.

I bought the Craftsman one and its ok. It says you can drive over it but I dropped it and the handle split. I wrapped some rubberized double stick tape around it and it has been good for a year. Battery life is decent because it will last me the day under the vehicle. But, I have noticed, even though it is bright as shit, the type of light it emits doesn't illuminate things under the hood as well. I have to break out my old incandecent trouble light when I work on anything that doesn't reflect, like rubber hoses and greasy stuff (I know like everything). I really like that it is skinny. I fixed a stupid fiberglass car called a Zimmer (got hit by a semi) and the LED light was real nice to slide under the bodywork and backlight the repair. Also, it is great camping because I can hang it from my shirt and not look like a dork with a headlamp although they do have their applications.

I second the craftsman, I have 2. Only thing is you cant direct the light very well.
