Any one running one of these, been kickn' around the idea of putting one in my Rubicon. The drivetrain is still stock, just wanted to know if there were any likes or dislike of them before I spend the $$$ on one.

why? you already a 4:1 xfer case and 4.10's in the diffs...I would rather spend me $$$ in regearing but that's me and I don't need the wheelspin - are you running a lot of highway miles or somethin?

AFA the klune in concerned...I aint got experience with it but I will throw this out there it will affect your driveshaft length ;) since it adds an additional 6.5" to the drivetrain length

Well, I'm sure everyone here has seen the Atlas II 4 speed, if you look on the front of it there is a Klume -v on it. While I know my 242 is not quite as strong as the atlas, but it's not bad and I don't have to worry with cutting up the interior of my jeep to allow for the dual sticks.

Yes, I know that it will set my transfer case back 6.5 inches but I'm not worried about that, got a RE 5.5 long arm kit to go on it very soon. So the shafts will have to be redone anyway. I have already done my gearing and just wanted to know if anyone here was running one.

yes people here are running them, yes they work pretty well. I'm assuming you're going for the 2.72:1 version. If you want the extra gearing options it's a good, well built, and time tested product.
