my girls 04 grand cherokee desides today that it wants to get the windows stuck down. its about 22 out side and it might snow tonight. no garage to put it in. anyone have an idea what it could be? she said the fuse looks alright. im thinking relay but is there something else it could be? i want to be able to figure this out asap!

I had a similar thing happen to me. I had a 99' Cherokee while I was stationed in Iceland. I went to roll my window up and "pop" the window came sliding back down:mad3: . I ended up having to replace the track that the window slides up. Does the motor still work? If so, that's probabaly what it is, if not, you're going to have to take the door panel off. Once you get it off, push the window up and ghetto rig it some how to stay up till you can get it fixed. I took a screwdriver and jammed it in the trac and clamped it in with some vice grips and then took duct tape and wrapped it around the trac right over the screwdriver and vice grips on the bottom of the piece of glass:smokin: . This held for a while till I figured out what it was and got the parts ordered and fixed it. It takes a while to get parts when you're overseas. I hope this helps man, good luck.

thanks, as of right now i thinks its electical since none of the windows are working. i guess ill just have to get out my tester and go through it all.
