The raceing was cool but watching the derby to get out was a blast.

it was all good i was out on the track flagging and my t shirt wasnt cutting it for the rain but the trash bag made it work. I go everyb year to hangtown but this was my first year flagging and nothing beats bein a foot away from the riders. Never again will i sit behind the fence let alone pay :rasta:

That cool being on the infield. Too bad Ron Ron was taken out in the first moto and then his bike was stuck WFO in the second because he looked like the only one that was going to give RC a run. Thats Racing!

Getting out of the parking lot on the FZ was like riding a special test too.

I am all over the track watching for problems plus i drive the water truck when needed on the track(only early in the day this time though :eek: ) My pm is empty so something else is wrong and i get 20-40 emails a day for HANGTOWN and dont know your last name so i probably replied something stupid or it got deleted without knowing it was you. Make sure you get ahold of me early next year. I had to take the forklift over to the Parts Unlimited area and pull the stakes for their tent and pick the tent up cuz it was so heavy from being soaked. Hay bay covers were all the rage for keeping dry. FMF should send me a check for the xtra advertising they got.

Damn, did'nt see ya Dean (well, I dont remember what you look like anyway :D ). I was in the Parts Unlimited hospitality area as well. Great place to hang out. Had a blast!

Yeah, it just was'nt Ron Ron's day. Too bad. He was on fire early on. What impresses me more is "Bubba". His lap times hovered only about a second off the pace of RC's after the first motos. VERY impressive kid. RC's a god, for sure. But remember the name James Stewart. I think he's going to be someday.

I wandered down to the fence on the second 125 goo fest. Bubba came around to that off camber down corner and roosted me! Mud on my face. It was an honor. :D :D

Did any of you see me grab the drunk that hopped the fence and start running around the track. The sheriff cuffed him but i think they let him go later in the day.

i saw that i thought it was rather entertaining. He was running around the hill for awhile before he jumped the fence. Never seen anybody that determined to represent LE suspension but hey the crowd liked it. Only thing is i could see escorting him off the track or outside the area for that matter but damn did they need to cuff him.

He fell hard on the downhill too, thats what happens when they expect summer heat and get rain. Confusion always sets in.

I was flagging right below where he jumped the fence too. It was by the dowhill stepdown over by the big stepup on the track. Not very precise but i think you should know what i'm talking about

lotsa people were yelling at us to let him go, but what if 500 or 5000 more decided to do the same thing. Thats why you gotta take it serious when there is 20,000 people.

me and the kids made it out there.. we were right next to the double jump or what everya call in on the big down hill. good action for sure!!

we split when it started rainning, kids were cold but they're still bragging about it to their friends today :) :) ...!
