How do you store your Bending Dies?

Wondering how everyone stores their bending dies? Anyone made a portable rack or have a design to share?

I just recently added 4 pipe die sets to my current 5 tube sets and with my OCD nature, I'll probably get 4 or 5 square dies in the near future...something about having all the options available???? Its getting bulky, heavy, and I have a tendency to move things around the shop to make room for the growing number of unfinished projects...I get bored easily...

I was thinking of some kind of rolling rack tree or extreme version of a vertical pegboard shelf that slides out each die set and holds all the bending related equipment.

Any ideas would be helpful...

I just mount mine to the bender cart using steel pegs and lynch pins to keep them from coming off. The pins have a slight angle for holding the main dies and the follower pins are straight with a small tab at the top to keep them from rotating down. Since these pics were taken I have added 1 more die and follower to the cart under the bender. Works pretty good.

With the number of dies that you're talking about buying I can see that just hanging them off the bender cart is not going to be the best option- one because they take up a lot of room, and two, that many dies would make the cart stupid heavy and a pain to move around.

For that many dies I envision something like a five foot or so tall triangular shaped rolling rack. The three legs would be about 2' apart at the bottom, and come together at a point on the top. Pegs would come out of each leg to hang the dies off of, with the larger dies stored at the bottom and the smaller ones at the top.

i store mine in the bender, I only have one:D
