I am using bend-tech pro and am trying to set up a simple stinger for a friends truck. It has 3 bends, I am trying to use pick points. The pick points are:

0,0,0
0,-22.5,0
5.5,0,0
5.5,-22.5,0
5.5,-11.25,37.764

When I look at the part details it tells me this part is 44.978", theres no way that that is correct since the part is 24" tall (height not along the tube) and 22.5" wide, just twice the height is 48" which is shorter since the bars run at an angle. What is going on?

Thanks,
Josh

2 things.

Here is a document for creating a stinger:

Secondly, the software doesn't like it when you don't have any leg length on either end (you can't bend it that way in your bender either). So if your CLR is 5.5 then use something great than 5.5 to that first apex point. Try something like 6.5.
