Trade? Pics Below:
I may be interested in a trade. I’m looking for a rock crawler that also has enough power to tow a trailer of toys out to the desert. Maybe a sas’d 4runner with an engine swap (Tacoma 3.4, V8, etc) that has passed the California Referee Inspection for smog… Also I need a mid 90’s car, 4-door, to be my daily driver. If you’ve got both I can throw in some cash to even out the deal.

1995 Toyota Pickup DX Xtra Cab
• 187,xxx miles
• V6
• 4 Wheel Drive
• 5-Speed Manual
• Head / Valve Job about 4k ago (I had the shop replace the following at the same time: engine mounts, new HD radiator, belts, timing belt and tensioner).
• Clutch went out about 6k ago and I had it replaced with a heavy duty clutch, but in the process the mechanic said the input shaft was damaged, and since it was also popping out of first gear occasionally I had the shop rebuild the entire transmission (ended up spending way too much just to replace the clutch!). Rear main seal was replaced at the same time.
• U-Joints and half axle shaft replaced 6 months ago
• 31” Bridgestone A/T tires (3/4 tread left)
• 4:30 gears (stock)
• K&N intake
• Extended Cab
• Dark Green Paint (minor scratches / chips typical with an older vehicle)
• Grey Interior
• Air Conditioning works great
• Hitch & plug for trailer lights
• Alarm
• Heavy Duty Shocks
• MP3 CD / Amp / Sub / Premium Speakers
• Toyota Bed Liner
• I purchased a power windows & locks kit for it, but haven’t got around to putting it on.
• Just got it detailed – looks awesome!

I really love the truck, it runs great and has good power. It is the last of the pickup made by Toyota. It is my daily driver, but it’s too small for a car seat in the back, and I’ve got a kid on the way. It seems that in the last year I’ve put over $4500 into this truck (got all the receipts), keeping it in top shape. I had planned on keeping it for a long time and converting it to a crawler, but now it’s got to go. I’ve seen similar trucks selling for way over blue book (in the $7000 range), but I’ll keep mine fair in blue book say $5900 obo.

Lets see if I can get the pics to work...

Would you trade for my Scout II. The International 345 was made for towing and will tow anything. it is also a very cabable 4x4 with seating for 5. This Scout II is very realiable also and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it cross country. the engine and transmission have extreamely low miles for an International. These IH vehicles are bullet proof.

Before you edited your post I thought it said the engine was rebuilt at 140,000 or some were close to that? How many miles are on just the engine?

When I purchased the truck I was told the engine was rebuilt at 125,000. I realized that I have no proof (receipts, etc) so I removed it from my listing. Although when I had the heads done I asked the shop if I should go ahead and rebuild the entire engine and they told me after they took the heads off that the cylinders & pistons looked perfect and it didn't need a rebuild (probably because it had already been done a little over 50k ago). Check your PM for more questions about your scout.
