Want a 1.5" 35 spline shaft in your Min-Truck or Land Cruiser axle? :D

We had a batch of Air Locker side gears rebroached to fit the RD33 and RD124 Air Lockers; these fit the FJ40, 60, and 80.

AND NOW we have a batch of mini-truck side gears in stock. You can now convert your RD23 to a 35 spline Air Locker!

We can supply you with a brand new RD33 (FF) or RD124(C-clip) Air Locker with the 35 spl. side gears installed and the end caps machined to take the larger diameter shaft.

OR

We can supply you with the side gears to upgrade your lockers (you will need to do a little machining to your end caps).

OR

We can machine your end caps and install the gears in your Air Locker

OR

If you have the RD02 or RD08 (45mm bearing journals) We can supply new end caps to convert them to the newer RD33 or RD124.

We can also supply the stuff to help complete your conversion:

35 spline shafts.

Front housings with D60 knuckles; including the new Spidertrax knucks. This will allow you to run D60 ujoints or the big Bobby Long CVs.

Rear housing with Ford big bearing ends ready for disc brakes.

And just about any other custom machining or welding on your axles or other drivetrain part you need. :cool2:

PM or ring me for more details and pricing.

Edit: Adding in the Mini-Truck info.

Along the same lines...Is it possible to make a 40 spline 9" ARB?

Unfortunately not.

We could squeeze in a 37 spline and that is pushing the limits of the side gear, but 40 isn't possible, there just isn't enough meat. If you need more strength out of the shafts, it's time for better shaft materials and shaft design..... We can do it, ring me for more info.

Tim, the FJ80 FF axles won't accept 35 spline shafts, will they? I thought they were something like 1.395 ID?

Is there enough material to bore it to 1.55" without compromising strength?

You are right, unfortunately you can't do the 35 spline conversion to the OE Toy FF axles unless you do new ends.

What we can do though is go to the Ford big bearing ends (semi-float) or an aftermarket FF outer for you.

Just added 35 spline mini-truck side gears to the list, so we can now build you a 35 spline Air Locker for the 8" mini-Truck axles and the 8.4" Tacoma rear axle. :D

can you do custom size Toyota rear axles? these are for a HJ75 LandCruiser pickup... semi floating, 30 splines 21" short shaft, 33" long shaft... 6 on 5.5" bolt pattern.
