Whats the cheapest/best place to buy D60 parts. I need: king pin rebuilt kit, 35 spline stubs, u-joints, and 35 spline lockouts or 35 spline flanges. Where should I look and what should I look to pay for each item?

Check locally for someone in your area who deals Spicer sh!t or an axle builder in your area. 9 times out of 10 I've found you can get those parts cheaper from a local guy because there isn't any shipping associated.

Oh yeah make sure you got the plastic ready, that stuff won't be cheap. Joints will be ~$100/pair, lock-outs ~$150/pair, King-pin kits ~50/side (I think- can't remember), don't know on flanges but I think stubs are ~$120/side (correct me if I'm wrong).

Well you didn't post what 60 you have, but if it's a chev. 60, you can have all the parts for your 35 spline conversion for $370 at
http://www.4wdfactory.com/

(No affiliation) Really not a bad price...UJ's, stubs and Warn LO's (or drive-flanges).

I've seen crap go on e-bay for MORE than what I can find it locally, and even less from outside the area. Heck, a USED Summitt 15 gal plastic fuel cell went for $195 a while back! Warn 35 spline LO's went for over $200...

Dunno' about the king-pin re-build kit...I'd start with NAPA.

I was under the impression that Warn hubs broached out to 35spline go boom real easy.

None of that shit is cheap. Don't know if you've priced real Spicer u-joints lately. The D60 5-332x goes for around $80 EACH at my local Napa.

I believe jim @ www.inchwormgear.com is now stocking some if not all of these items. He seems to have fair prices, and good service.

Dude I hope you're not paying that. That's outrageous. I just got mine within the last month or so and they were $48 a piece

Naw, a friend got me hooked up with his distributor for $45 a pop. Still, for people who don't know any better, those are the prices out there.

Parts Mike sold a pair of SPL55 u-joints for $39 each
Drivetrain Warehouse set me up w/35spline stubs for $60 each
I bought a pair of spicer hubs from Brian on this board for $100
Knoll Racing broached me a pair of Spicers for $75
New snap rings at Ace Hardware were $2

That's $375 total plus shipping on the ujoints & the stubbies
