: Need Gears installed in Vacaville/Sac area UKMyers 02-20-2007, 03:05 PM I've got my third, yukon 5.29s, detroit, and master install kit sitting here that I need set up. FAO in Vacaville and West Coast diffs won't do it because I didn't buy my parts from them. River City Diff is charging $250, is backed up 2 weeks, and is just over and hour away drive without traffic for me. Anybody know of anyone else around Sactown that does quality work? I went to www.4x4specialtiesconcord.com/ in concord. I've had mixed results there. They did good quick work. However, price was funny.... I went in 3 times over several months (Aug, Nov, & Dec).... I got quoted $400 the first time, then $300 in Nov, when I brought in Dec they only charged me $200 (must have been slow). Allen the owner is a character, but he can be grumpy to say the least. Yup.. they installed my 4.56's. Good job.. and got an ARB installed too. They called me and said the facing one one of the rear drive shafts was wearing out.
