I have the factory automatic shift linkage on my 83 CJ7. I took it apart and painted it while the TF727 was being rebuilt. I have something wrong because the rods contact one another when I try get it in low. I have looked at an 85 CJ, but it does not look the same as mine. Does anyone have a diagram or picture that would offer me some help. I don't want to mess up the new rebuild trans because I have the linkage wrong. Can anyone help.
