Opinions on these. How does a mono tube work better then the other kinds? Are they any better the the Rancho 9000's? I've heard that the Rancho's aren't all that great.

Mono tubes will work just great until you put a good size dent in the shock...........then they no worky. The RS 9000 is a twin tube thats why they keep working after being dented. To each his own.

i hope the 100$ + price tag per shock was a typo in the last 4x4 mag writeup on new equipment!!! save your pennies and go sway away if you wanna spend money on a nice suspension component. rancho 9000 is the best bang for the buck!!!!!!

ZThat what I was hearing, but I thought I saw them listed for 89.99 recently. This put them in price range of the OME shocks I was planning on getting. I wonder how comparable ther are?

Personally, If I was going to buy shocks in the upper range I'd drop down a few bucks and go for some Bilstien 5100's, then again if you're after a selectable stick with Rancho. Those procomps seem to be way too highly priced.
