I have 2 cars for sale. Buena Park, california.
-----------------------------------------------
1992 BMW 325i asking $1,500
Automatic
224,xxx miles
24MPG combined. FANTASTIC for a 15 year old 6cyl car!
Car runs strong. Mechanically it is great. Driven it to San Francisco to OC and back and had not a single problem. Have put 6k miles on it since I bought it (August I think).
The ups:
- Runs very strong, not a single problem mechanically
- New brakes, and other misc work. About $1,200 into it.
- No leaks ANYWHERE.
Problems:
- Exterior looks HORRIBLE. It needs to be sanded, plastered and repainted. Unless you don't care (like me) then it's perfectly fine.
- Interior is WORSE. I have all new door panels and dash (black) that you can install. It will make a world of difference.
- Driver side window does not roll all the way up. Have to work it up. Needs a bolt or something.
- Spoiler not installed.
SALVAGE TITLE - Shouldn't be, it runs great.

----------------------------------------------------
1998 Chevrolet Cavalier z24 asking $2,000
SUNROOF
Red exterior, black/grey interior
4spd automatic transmission. Shifts smooth no problems.
153,xxx Miles
Tags good until April 2007.
Engine has a small knock. I purchased the car January 22nd 2007 under the impression it was a timing issue. After spending $80 to have it inspected I found out that there is a thrown piston, meaning it needs a lower end rebuild or the engine replaced. It runs, and the mechanic has stated it will continue to run for awhile, but driving it just means more wear and tear.
I priced an engine: $800 shipped from Wisconsin. If you want the info to the seller I can provide it. The new engine has 32,xxx miles out of a written off z24.
I don't want to mislead anyone like I was mislead, hence the odd honesty (plus I am Canadian, so it's forbidden to cheat). I paid $2,000 for the car, spend $131 registering and paying taxes/transfer, $80 on the inspection. So I am already expecting to lose a few hundred.
The car itself is in amazing shape for a 1998. NO dents, NO rust not a single knick or scratch. My impression was the woman who owned it kept it looking great but simply forgot that engines need oil.
I can provide pictures upon request. I'll have to go take some so be specific on what you want to see. Let's make a deal.
