My parents smaked a deer with their truck the other day and after paying $250 for a used grill they are thing about a better bumper/grill guard. I have been looking around and found lots of places that offer a bumper upgrade, but no one that has good protection either in the grille area or out by the lights. I have looked at Reunel but those things cost $1100!! I found another company, Super Craft, that seem to offer some decent bumpers. Anyone have anything else? A prerunner stlye bumper would work to but I havn't had much luck finding one for the GMC pickup's. Thanks.

Don't know if y'all can get em up there in Big Sky Country, but Ranch Hand bumpers are the ones to get down here. They'll hold up a deer no problem. A little pricey but not as much as the Ruenell. When I was in Montana a couple years ago I had to laugh because all these big tough pickups with little dinky bumpers. I'd like to haul a truckload of Ranch Hand bumpers and Rawson-Koenig toolboxes up there some day.

If your looking to smash shit and not spend alot of money, you could allways throw a section of gas pipe line on there and weld it to the frame stubs. Fill it with concrete for extra deer stoping power.

This one is similar to RanchHand, but cheaper, 'Ruffneck'

Hayraker,
Do they have a website or company that carries them? I couldn't find anything.

Ross,
I'll have to give you a call sometime.

I don't think the gas pipe and concrete would go over real well as my Dad is some what a perfectionist and likes things to follow the truck lines. Thanks guys.

Mine is custom made from square tubing.
Very heavy.
Here is a pic as an idea.
