But it still has the ubercoolness of H&K. It looks like the offspring of an M4 MP5 get together.
Saw it tested on that weapons show last night. Buried in sand, smacked and fired. Pulled from a barrel of water and fired with water still running out. Looks like they may have created a nice assault piece anyway.

Umm how? It has the substandard HK sights, and an utterly unneeded piston setup that adds more parts to possibly fail.

I agree, the myth that the direct gas system is inferior is a funny one. As an LEO I never need to worry. I know many soldiers that had zero problems with their M16's and M4's in Iraq. Proper care and oiling fixes the problems.
