Still rockin the pussy IFS. It'll stay that way until it blows up bad enough and until I've got funds to SAS. Still a fun truck. It does some rock crawling but it's more Moab and desert stuff for now. I've got a cruiser for the rocks.

Thanks :flipoff2: I know leafs are weak but I got it down to 26.5" so it works decent. No build thread but it's a 2.7 with an auto, lc header and egr blockoff, 3x2.28 cases, recentered high pinion 60 with chromos and longfield 300m joints 5.13's, 14b with disc brakes, driveline tech drivelines, psc hydro assist and 42" iroks. The double bob has just enough room to haul my real trail ride

you going to the round-up this year?

Yeah, I run 300m CTM flanges from Summit Machine......... they have a capture ring for the caps for my drive to and from the trails......... only takes 10 min. a side to pop the slugs in and out. I've thought about getting some regular hubs, but running 35 spline outers makes them weak and not worth the convenience........ and I'm not about to shell out $600 for Dynatrac's! :eek:

my buddy got a set of those for free. his friend did the prototypes or whatever and handed him those. hes still running them to this day. we wheeled together a few weeks ago. there nice!

Is that bumper attached with only the two bolts on the face of the front crossmember? There are usually 10 more bolts that attach those.

Cool truck though.

For that day yes, it is now welded on with braces back to the body mounts

Dana 44 out of a waggy, Chromo shafts, spartin locker in the front, warn premium hubs, 5.38's, custom long spline drive shaft, rancho 44044's with two leaves removed, high steer with heim joints, trail gear frame plates front and rear, 5.29's in the rear, lockrite in the rear, chevy 63's with a aal and 4in shackle, FROR crossmember, marlin crawler clutch, 37x12.50x16 creepy crawlers, trail gear tranny cross member, twin sticks. Im sure im missing some stuff.

No they don't fall off. Just make sure you put it on a clean surface.

I have one suction cup mount tested up to 120mph no problem.

Bastard Pack.... The main leaf is a Jeep Cherokee rear and then i took Chevy s10 springs out of a 2wd pickup and cut the eyes off of them and put them under. I think when they are compressed they are around 52 inches long i think..... I wanted to run something different than ever other toyota tacoma thats leaf

TRD e-locker in back under cheby springs, 4:56s single case auto.
35s on poserlocks.
2m ham & c.b. radios.

Flatbed and other goodies fabbed by the esteemed surgeon Dr. Smash of Carson City, Nv. Conviently located a mile from all the cat-houses! The Doctor is going to perform front bumper augmentation with a winch enhanced tubejob soon.
And if I wanted a ghetto-bilt p.o.s. like I see broken on the trail all the time I'd build it myself :flipoff2: (Pre-emptive strike for all the d.i.y. trash talkers!)

I knew I'd take some hits for that. But I wanted a working truck with more of a headache rack than an exo. Eric wanted to follow the cab lines closer but my plans for the truck dictated a rollbar/headache rack that can serve as a platform for other functions.

Your point is valid, but it was my call on the roll bar.

The new truck. 02 3.4L 5 speed. Trail Gear dual cases, 6 inch lift with iFS still, 35's, TRD rear locker, smittybuilt winch, York OBA, bobbed 8 inches. Hasn't seen the rocks yet only snow. Hitting moonrocks for its first trip memorial weekend.

I keep hearing how big Moonrocks is Memorial weekend, might have to run over since its only about a 1/2hr from here Reno. Been there once, but with my last truck and pretty late at night watching all the cocky tube buggy/jeep guys.

Slowly build up some 60's and coil overs. Keeping this street legal as its my only vehicle now. Hopefully the IFS will hold up for a year of wheelin.
