I know it's not a Merc but it does have portal axles! I rode in a friend's C303 tank killer the other day and I really liked it. Anyone here a Volvo expert? Here is a couple of pics of what they look like. My buddies rig has 36's with plenty of room for larger. I don't know the size of the tires on this rig.

Anyway it has factory lockers, crazy ground clearane and much better road manners than my mog. Plus it is even more uncommon than my mog. I kind of liked it.:flipoff2:
