Well....I narrowed a RC 44 from a F250 to use Scout inner axles. Finished welding the C's on tonight. The thing measures 47 3/4" from center of upper ball joint to joint. I'm going to run the Ford 8 lug on Jeep J20 outers....basically Chevy stuff. Now the maybe promblem...the Ford 44 with the case in left side spring perch only leaves me 2 1/2" of axle tube between pumpkin and the C mount. Where the hell do I mount the Polypro. 1" rod ends I wanted to use for my longarm mount? Looks like I can catch half on the axle tube and grind out a spot and weld the other mount ear to the pumpkin, Any ideas or photo's? I'm thinkin' TJ guys may done this...:smokin:

If you are using the misalignment spacers with those rod ends, you need at least 3" of space to mount 1/4" brackets since they are 2.5" across. I guess you can make the brackets with a bend in them so they weld to the housing tubes then bend out some to clear the rod end (picture some Toyota shackles)
