need some help with a problem here, my carb is fawked...first off the idle is all over the place never can keep it in the same place, just stalls for no reason, and it bogs like a mofo, i can put pedal to the floor and nothin happens...and if i want any response i have to pump the gas,....so what might be wrong with this bastard:confused:

im the fuel injection type myself but due to budget restraints im gonna order a qjet from jet for my 460 here in a few days:skull:. I hope it works better than yours. how bout some back ground info on the carb?? how old, what motor??

its on a 350 and the carb is a new old stock rodchester qjet, less than 6months old, and the bastard is fawked

accelerator pump is probably hard as a rock and not shooting gas when you step on it. maybe the gaskets are shot as well, making a vacuum leak at idle? if its N.O.S., its probably been on the shelf awhile. just a thought;)
