im looking at getting a borla exhaust cat back system for my 98 XJ.. Now i see that they do not make one for that year. But they do have one for 00 to 01. So what im wondering is, is whats the difference between the those years. Ive heard that it could be hangers or the cat.. Ive also heard that the 00 to 01's are 2" longer in wheel base so you'd have to cut 2" off it.. Just trying to get some input.

I have a Borla header on my 92 with a Flowmaster 40 series and a 2.5" tail pipe from Rusty's also have no cat thatnks to dragging it over rocks.
