Does the Posi-lok kit work with a 6" suspension and 3" body lift. I'm worried the cable may be too short. I called 4x4Posi-Lok and one guy said no, the other said maybe if you mount it really low, maybe even floor mount. Anyone with a lift has experience with this?

I don't know about the IFS kits, but for my Cherokee with 3" of lift there is more than enough cable for me to take it as high as I want to using the recommended mounting location.

Had one with a 6 inch lift on a 92 1500 and I had to cut some off the cable

When I bought my Posi-Lok for my 97, there was an option of a longer cable. I had TONS of slack though, could have easily fit with 8" of lift.

I don't know. I made my own for less then half what a Posi-Lok kit costs.

I've got a Tahoe with 6" lift and it has PLENTY of cable. I'd be surprised if you couldn't use the cable with with suspension and body lift.
