What Years And Makes Had A Dana 44 In It And Had LEAF Spring Perchs Already On It?

73-87 pick-em ups, 73-91 blazers and 73-91 burbs. The 44 came in the 1/2 and 3/4 tons and SUV’s but some also had 10 bolts I am sure some one has a list with more specific answers or maybe check the faq page

I have a 79 D44. It seems between 1978 and 1979 they may or may not have D44's. Most likely a 1978 will...and it seems the 1979's could be had either way, it seems GM used up what they had left over on the shelves.

Im sorry i should have specified im looking to sas my 98 sierrra 1/2 ton and ive researched this alot and plan on using a ford d44 for the front and a 14b hf or ff which ever i find for a good deal so with that being said which fords have leaf spring perches?

Ford pickups F250 for the D44.....just not the later Twin I-beam ones........years can't recall off the top of my head.

78-79 Ford F250's are 8-lug leaf spring high pinion driver drop.
