My toyota has no oil pressure indicators at all a this point. I need one especially the way i wheel. I bought a fairly nice sunpro gauge and got ready to install it and first thing i realized is the tube it gives you it WAYY to small so im going back tomorrow to get a longer tube but that leads to my next question to those who have them. HOW THE FU*K DO YOU UNCOIL THE TUBE. do you like boil it and stretch it straight? do you like keep pulling it? cause i kinked the shit out on the like 4 foot piece it came with. is there another company i can buy thats softer? im kinda on a limb on this one. let me know. please.

Get a piece of 1/8th inch copper line from the hardware store. Use it instead of the plastic 1 that came with the kit. All the hardware fittings from the plastic line will work. The copper line should be protected inside of rubber line anywhere that it can get a rubbed spot.

get the 50 dollar autometer electric gauge... the first time those gauge lines leak, and they will, you'll thank me..

been there,done that!
a floor full of oil in the middle of the highway is no fun!
and hopefuly you carry a set of vice grips to pinch the end when it happens and oil to fill back up. electrical all the way.

love the symple guages better than just using a wire. sure not as easy to set up but one knows what the psi is right now.
in thirty years only one problem and it was on a race car.
many problems with the wire ones.
but then i have hard line for oil and water temp.
