Ok probarbly a stupid newbie question but..I need to know how wide 80 series diffs are.

about 4 inches wider than 40 series

are you sure mick?

cause i know the 60 series diffs are 85mm wider than 40 series and i thought 80 series stuff was WIDER again???

whats the WMS to WMS on those 80 diffs that you got there?

i havent measured them! I am a lazy prick!

It is a bit wider than my 40 with 2inch wheel spacers on. With the spacers on the wheels will be totally outside the gaurds

OK some quick maths thanks to morgans link and i havce some pretty good indications of WMS to WMS widths etc:
" = inches
() = mm
SERIES: REAR: (mm) FRONT: (mm)
40 56.16" (1404) 56" (1400)
60 59.4" (1485) 58.8" (1470)
80 63.8" (1595) 64" (1600)


this is using a rule of:
25mm = 1" (inch)

now if we ever need these questions again tis all here!! :rasta:
