How much wider would a DANA 60 out of a 79 ford with H1 rims be than a tj dana 30/44 with 3.5'' backspacing? ( I am asking this becuase im thinking of keeping it full width to save money because I found a deal on a set of 60's)

I don't know about H1 wheels, but with H2 wheels..

'79 HP60 = 69.5"
H2 BS = 5.5"

D30 = 61"
Wheel BS = 3.5"

This means that the H2 wheels with the 60's would stick out 2" more than they do currently.

the H1's have 7 inches of backspacing, so you are gonna be right about the same as you are now

1) Is a D60 rear full floater out of a 79 ford f250 35 spline?

2) Is any modification to the H1 wheel necassary or do the bolt patterns match up?

Not sure about the ford axle, mine are dodge dana 60's

no modifications are needed for the H1 wheels

you will have some steering issues, You will need to run custom H1 Hy-steer arms

you ever have problems with your hubs getting hit by rocks or nething?(since there exposed due to the large backspacing
