christhesav 02-27-2007, 01:32 AM I am building a 1980 CJ5 with 60/14. I am running reversed XJ with 3" add a leaf in the rear and 40" TSL. I am wondering what spring to use in the front. I am welding on spring buckets about 2" forward and outboarding for the 60. How do the waggy 44044 springs flex compared to RE 1.5 wrangler springs? How does RE spring flex compared to other springs. Pics would be helpful. thanks JDunn 02-27-2007, 09:15 AM I love my RE 1.5's they flex great. I have a picture if you want it. The 44044's are good but are known to brake a main leaf. Also the RE 1.5's are 1.5" of lift and the 44044's are 4" lift springs. If you need more lift with the RE springs build a bigger drop box. christhesav 02-27-2007, 10:43 AM I have heard Rubicon springs are rated conservatively and they usually lift more than they say. Is this true for the YJ 1.5 lift spring? | |
