i put in a turbo 350 in the 95 suburan and now it won't turn over. it has a lot of wires that go to the shifft side of the 700r. i'm trying to wire around the neutral switch. any help would be great. thanks

The wires you speak of have zip to do with the neutral switch. The switch should be located on the steering column-on top near the floorboard in the driver's compartment if I recall correctly. ymmv.

the 1995 year was the first year they changed the linkage to a cable.....

The neutral safety was moved to the side of the tranny in 1995 with the shift lever going through it. On my diagram it looks like you need to connect the yellow wire and the purple wire to bypass it. The wires should be in the connector that plugs into module on the side of the tranny.
