no but you could cut up some wheels and recenter them. I might have seen a set somewhere once.

no point really, 15" tires are more plentiful

Those were available as a factory option on half tons back in the '60s and early '70s. It was not a popular option, and they are rare today.

ok I know I'm that that smart but I owned a 1995 chevy 2500 that had 6 lug axles well the rear anyway the front was IFS no wait those were only 16" not 16.5 ok like I said never mined

what blackdog said is right though 16.5" were available options on the old trucks back in the day

i have original gm truck options sheets that show the wheel and tire options and rpo codes and sizes and such

you could get lots of different sizes including 15" 16" 16.5" and 17.5" back then

15" was on msot all of them though, no one hardly ever ordered anything other than 15" on the 10 series trucks

although once i got a 72 c-10 that showed 16" wheels on the rpo sticker in the glovebox

thats the only time ive ever seen something other than 15" actually ordered on a 10 series truck

the 88 up truck had smaller bearing hub hole in the wheels than 87 and older though

you could put factory 72 older 6 lug 2wd or 87 older 4x4 6 lug wheels on an 88-up but not the other way around

same 6 on 5.5" pattern ever since the 50s or whenever 6 on 5.5" first came out, i know it was around in 1958 though on the apache pickups

I happened to run across these myself at some pretty good prices. Here's the link: http://www.4x4groupbuy.com/store/pro-comp-m-41.html?page=12&sort=3a&osCsid=d5271c2a5cf3345a469ef54fce87a0b8

Hey Cowboy, what did you end up doing for your application?

Thank goodness for the "Search" option! I have the same problem, anyone have a used set of these or have any other ideas? I need 'em on the cheap so I can test out the used tires I just picked up. Happy Holidays everyone and thanks ahead of time!

Here's the post I wrote (which no one has replied to yet) before I found this one.

you can get back to me on either that one or this one I guess.

I have a set of white spoke 6 lug 16.5's I think they are 8" wide. pretty new only ran a short time. They came with the tires I bought, the guy who had them had to special order them.

If anybody is interested shoot me a pm.

I have a set of those 6 lug 16 inch early rims I run sometimes. They are perfect for 7.50 16s. I wish I could get a set of the clip on Baby moon Hubcaps for them.

No Problem, I'm the one that jacked the thread here actually so my apology goes to Cowboy.

Cowboy Pm'd me and it looks like he went through a custom builder for his wheels. I have learned more about the 16.5 tapered beads and rim width, etc. It looks like my tires require a 9.75" wide rim which only Pro Comp makes.

I'm still waiting to see what Tall Boy can do in the way of price. -PM sent to Tall Boy.
