: Hardline CJ7 Build.
Pdaddy 03-01-2007, 07:05 AM Posting for my buddy cbchambles... He brought his CJ over wanting to " build his own flat fenders" so he could learn to weld, bund and so on. Well after the first day we were sitting around drinking and we came up with this great idea to sell his scout 44s and see what we could do with the money made on that. He scored a D60 front prior to the scouts being sold so we had a nice starting point. The axles sold shortly there after and it all began.
D60/14B both welded, 4link front and rear, front on 14" SAW's rear on some ZJ coils I had laying around WB 109" flat fendered , comp cut powdercoated black H2 wheels with 42" Iroks, full hydro steer from salvage/surplus stuff ( he has just over 100 dollars in it with the orbital and DE ram  ) This 7 also has a late model 4.0L/727/twin stick D300.......
We started this deal around Jan 12th... it will hopefully be test drove this Saturday not to bad for weekends here and there and as you can see in the pics, a few after work evening hours.
Here it is when I first meet Brennan a year prior on the scout axles...

Here it is after the initial... " I started my own Tube fenders " thing went out the window ( Dubs rolled in place for fun :flipoff2: ) and he sold the scount axles...

Pdaddy 03-01-2007, 07:06 AM Brennan scored a deal on these wheels.... and had a "buddy" hook him up on black powdercoating :smokin: He has a whooping 100 bucks in the wheels and PC

Pdaddy 03-01-2007, 07:10 AM I scored a 14B off a hillbilly neighbor of mine for 50 bucks for him , I had to regear it to match the 4.10s in the front ( you win some you lose some ) I did a disc swap on it as well, and Brennan bought a Corvette MC to help with the "whoa nelly" duties

I built a ridiculous truss and so forth for the 60 and we got the whatever it came off of DE ram mounted and such ....

Pdaddy 03-01-2007, 07:12 AM He scored the 42s used for 1k and got them mounted up.. we started putting stuff in place and seeing how far we could push the wheelbase out front...

Pdaddy 03-01-2007, 07:19 AM Heres the 14B rolled into place were he decided he would like the WB to be at 109"

He bought the SAW's for the front so I scrounged some more remnant tube up cause his cheap ass has bought a piece of material yet for it :flipoff2: and the last couple nights I have fitted and started mounting the coilovers up front...
