Hey my buddy in a wrangler got a 9" and custom shafts for his bolt pattern. It went from, I believe, 5 on 5.5 to 5 on 5 and now his drum doesn't fit. Do you guys usually just get new drums made or do you re-drill the holes off-center from the ford holes? The problem is he only has a few days to get it done before we leave and he can't re-use the old shafts because he got 31 spline shafts and a carrier instead of the stock 28 spline.

Do a Disk brake conversion on it...

Use brackets from AA-Mfg (www.aa-mfg.com) for the calipers.

Use std large GM calipers, stock rubber lines, std caliper guide pins...it's real easy.

Pics of my 14 bolt are in my www link below. On a SF axle, I have seen the rotor mounted on both the outside and inside of the axle flange. If the wheel does not rub with the rotor on the outside, then run it...if it does rub, then move it to the inside to push the rotor away from the wheel a little.

If the axle shafts were made correctly, you can remove the studs, and use the hub in the flange to center the drum, for the new holes.
