Looking forward to seeing it hosted. My adapters are still sitting next to my computer taunting me.

Ive been testing it for months now, works great! Makes a night and day difference for rock crawling and running difficult trails and obstacles. Knock on wood, but I havnt broken a single part yet. Even with a front ARB locker and IFS... hopefully that wont change on my next trip.

yeah id love to have one, it would make obstacles a whole lot easier, especially with a manual trans. i need to save up...

Point and shoot. :smokin:

I think Marlin has gotten all of the bugs worked out of the Tacoma crawler, mine is # 0005 of the new R-10 design and it has worked flawlessly since I finally got it installed correctly.

It is definately well worth the money if you run on the rocks more than once in awhile. People say you will break more stuff i.e. CV's tie rods, gears, etc. However, I think that if you learn how to drive properly and are easy and smooth on the throttle, stop and re-assess when things start to bind up then you wont have any issues.

Another misconception was that a crawler is not needed with an auto. trans. :shaking: This is simply not the case, sure you can let your trans. slip all day long until it heats up and grenades. Or you can shift into LOW and cruise up the trail... And I even have the 4.7 gears that everyone said would be "overkill" with an auto. trans.... no regrets, works great.

yeah you cant just let the torque converter slip all day, especially without a trans cooler, glad to hear it all works out good.i am starting to look into it more and more. when i do get one it will most likley be a marlin. ive been on their board alot latley reading up on it..maybe next year.

Marlin or Inchworm, you cant go wrong either way really. Both have pro's and cons, but in the end they are virtually the same thing. If I had a manuel trans. I would definately have done it sooner than later.

yeah, somtimes you cant really help but slip the clutch, pisses me off. oh well, ill just have to deal with it for a while unfortunatley.
