I have a '76 Jeep Cherokee (virtually the same as a Chevy) Dana 44 front that I want to change to 5 on 5.5 lug pattern. Can I utilize the flat top knuckles on my axle and re-drill them to accept 5-lug hubs, or do I have to change everything from the knuckles out? If I can use my knuckles, then the only parts I will need to get to complete the swap would be Ford hubs & rotors, correct? Meaning that I can use my spindles, calipers, & caliper brackets? Thanks.
