Theres a guy on a local board thats got a set of CJ comps for sale. the tubs look damn close and the only difference he mentioned was the are no hinge pockets cut on the passenger side, which would be good for me. But my quetion is there any other differences in the tubs that would make these not work on a YJ tub?
thanks

I called psc and btf about this as I have a cj tailgate on the yj. BTF said the cj corners would work no probs. The girl at psc said I would have to order custom yj w/o the tailgate hinge slots... I'm not sure she really knew what she was talking about. If the btf ones fit ... the psc should.?? But wtf do I know as I still don't have mine ... my build is on hold...apparently the kids needed another $3000.00 pony:confused:

The only differences between the two are:
Slight difference in LED tail light cutout holes
The little tab (they call it the 'beard') that hangs down on the front of the crusher that lines up with the rocker knocker is different between yj and cj.
If you are not running YJ specific psc rocker knockers then you will have no problems. Keep in mind you will have to relocate the rear most body mounts inboard of the frame, and the you lose the factory gas filler.

Are you planning to comp cut, or just go with full crushers? Comp cuts pretty much negates any specific application unless you are running psc rocker knockers. For whatever reason, the alignment tabs on the crushers that match up to the CJ or YJ rockers is different between the two so you have to be aware of this. AJ was probably trying to keep everything 'YJ' so that there would be no alignment issues later on down the road should you opt to install psc rockers.

So if I wanted to run a psc rocker I would have to modify them, HHHmmm

Yes, comp cut .... I was planning on rockers but I may have re-thought this. Thanks for the info on the alignment tabs.

moving the gas filler will be the biggest issue. you'll need to find a supply hose and vent hose that will fit.
i put an or-fab tire carrier for a YJ on a CJ and used the corners to cover up the old filler hole.
