Does anyone know how to lift a 2002 Chevy TrailBlazer 4WD. If so does anyone make a kit.

One of my friends girlfriend has a TrailBlazer and asked if I knew how to lift it. Not something I would do but anyhow.

I think, only heard this, that they can't be lifted do to the oilpan deal where the front axle passes through it, or something like that. It's just hearsay type info, but I doubt you'll really get anything useful. Just the typical, why lift a soccer mom SUV, or this is extreme rockcrawling, blah, blah.

SAS!

But judging by your post afaik the only thing made for it is a body lift. So crank and bl I guess.. Still looking at like 5in lift which should suffice for the gf. Till she complains about how bad it rides...

X2 as far as I know the Trailblazer and Colorado cant be lifted due to the axle shaft hole in the oil pan you could get a bodly lift for it and go from there...

Partially true - the axle shaft does go through the oil pan on the Trailblazer, but not on the Colorado/Canyon or H2.

FWIW, I have kind of a far-out fantasy of getting a 2wd Trailblazer SS & then converting it to 4wd with a solid axle & somewhere between 37 & 40" rubber :grinpimp:

if you go to the Trailvoy forum (http://www.trailvoy.com)you will see there is both a 2" body lift and a 2" suspension lift available. There are no torsions so you can't crank it up! :D

The front diff is bolted to the oilpan, and does pass through it. It does unbolt though. They are separate pieces.

drop it, throw some D's on that bitch with some low pro tires, and get a tint:shaking:. there is a reason no one has kits or parts to make it a rockcrawler, don't let the name fool you just cuz it says trailblazer.

He's right, there's rockcrawler kits made for everything. The Trailblazer is the black sheep. :flipoff2:

i saw six jeeps just like yours today at wal-mart...

Isn't your sig a little contradictive? The Trailblazer could be traded for a Jeep, but obviously they want something different, just like you.

Modded Sammy = different but capable (and really not all that different nowadays)

lifted Trailblazer = just different <- notice the lack of the word "capable"

This website isn't the place to go to help your buddy's g/f make a mall crawler so you have a shot of getting in her pants... not even the newbie forum.
