Hey changin the intake manifold on one of my 1990 chev 350 to a edelbrock one... never done it before... just looking for some tips on what to do how to do it and what to look for like to much sludge in there like i need to rebuild my motor or any little tip hints tricks anything would help thanks guys..

Don't use the pos gaskets for the front and back, just run a nice thick bead of rtv from one head to the other.

crank motor to tdc doesn't matter if exhaust stroke or intake. mark the dizzy for direction the rotor was facing, and mark the w3ay the dizzy's electronic plugs were facing. it will be much easier to start and time when put back together.
