Cool idea but I'd rather drop the coin on a Cavalry Arms polymer lower which can use grease gun magazines as well. No provision for a collapsing stock but that doesn't bother me.

Got a link ? I couldn't find it in a quick search.

Edit, I got it. Very cool. I think I agree except for the fixed stock.

WTF?

The cool thing is, the AR45 isn't very loud at all. I started out shooting with hearing protection, but half way through I decided I didn't them it. It is no where near as loud as a .45 pistol. After the testing of the AR45, all I can say is AWESOME!!!!

WTF?

Probably similar to a .22 pistol vs a .22 rifle as far as sound goes. (only louder) Add another 16" of barrel and move the sound out away from you things become bearable.

That and the powder in a .45 round is pretty much burnt up by inch #9 or 10. I bet an SBR will chrono higher than a 16"er

Which is why I said "as well" meaning that the Cav Arms lower can also utilize M3 grease gun magazines. However the Cav lower is not a dedicated lower so you can still slap other caliber uppers on it and go whichever way you choose.

Yup, I got what you meant. I think I might get one and if I don't like it I can change out the upper.
