I'm building an 85 toy xtra cab and will be starting out with a 3" suspension lift and 1" body lift, equipped with 35x12.50 tires.More will happen with time and money as this is my DD it can't be down for long.
I need some info. on the 3rz 2.7 taco motors if anyone could help me please.I need to know what kinda of horsepower and torque they have at what RPM,Fuel economy, details on the conversion, cost ,etc.... The more details the better.I really appreciate the help guys.

I forget the RPM range but its 150hp and 177lbs ft, its in the upper RPM's, like around 3500 or 4000. Fuel economy on a truck w/ 35's? That's a joke, right? Make sure you get a factory service manual w/ the wiring schematics to both your truck and the year engine you use. Just remember, 95.5-97 had distributors, 98-04 had coil packs. You might wanna also watch the Marlin forum, there are/have been a few of these swaps performed over there as well.

what for? nothing against big mike and the marlin guys, but the best documented 2.7 swap in the history of western civilization is right here. you were aware of that fact?

very aware... but its always good to do your research before you dive into something you can't get your ass out of. The more dependable sources, the better. Right?
